SCANPAINT SA DE CV was founded in 1995 with the acquisition of a paint line for the application of electrostatic powder paint.
It currently has seven European-made electrostatic powder coating lines, two electrophoretic liquid coating lines (E-coat), a degreasing, phosphating, and corrosion protection line, and three pieces of equipment for stripping paint and removing inorganic materials from metal parts.
SCANPAINT is IATF 16949:2016 certified.

Our history
2003
Install a 5-stage washer that degreases, phosphatizes, and protects metal parts against corrosion.
It is certified under the ISO 9001 system.
2013
It is certified under the ISO TS Standard.
2016
Install the second line for the electrophoretic painting process (E-coat).
2018
It is certified under the IATF-16949:2016 system.
2022
Install a fifth powder coating line on plant 3.
It is certified under the ISO 14001:2015 system.
1995
Scanpaint acquires a Swedish electrostatic powder coating line and begins providing the service.
2000
Acquires a second electrostatic powder coating line from Denmark.
2008
It has installed a third Danish electrostatic painting line, designed to apply zinc phosphate pretreatment, and is currently operating with zirconium pretreatment, which is equivalent to zinc phosphate, but environmentally friendly.
2012
Installs a line for the electrophoretic painting process (E-coat) aimed primarily at the automotive industry.
2017
A fourth electrostatic painting line, designed to apply multi-metal pretreatment, is installed. A second piece stripping system and hanging racks are installed.
2020
Construction of the 3rd floor building is completed.
2023
Installs a sixth semi-automatic powder coating line on plant 2.
Installs a seventh powder coating line on plant 3.
